SCARFACE REDUX now live!

Hello little frengs,

Yes, it is true- we are finally remaking Scarface, and so can you!

For better or worse, Scarface had held Miami's image in a vice grip since it came out, and as our mission is to redefine cinema in Miami (and vice-versa) we thought it was about time to get literal and take back our image! Or something.

This project is exactly what you might expect a crowdsourced remake of Scarface to be. We cut the original movie up into 15-seconds chunks and are inviting you to remake these chunks. At the end we will combine them into the full film and screen it at the arguably prestigious Borscht Film Festival in December.*

We invite each of you to contribute 15 seconds to the remake of the film, asking you reinterpret it however you like- live action, legos, animation, chihuahuas, puppets- it doesn't matter as long as you sort of stick to the original story.

Don't worry if you're not a filmmaker per se- you can shoot this on your cellphone or a banana or whatever you have around you as long as you have fun.
